Next up were Sherberious fruit jellies from Hokkaido. Now these jellies are the real deal and a world apart from your usual sugar syrup filled ones. These jellies were saturated with flavour, intensifying the flavour of the fruit it holds. The Yubari melon ones were very tasty, a joy to have.
This was my first time tasting Hascup berries, they look similar to a grape but taste differently, quite a unique taste that I can't really describe. We had the cherry flavour and the tomato flavour as well. We even got the chance to try the tomato itself, tomato lovers would love them both.
Moving on to the dairy products, we had Hokkaido milk, butter, cheese and cheesecake. The butter was slightly salted and luxuriously rich. The cheese was rich and creamy as well, quality products no less.
The rare Hokkaido cheesecake was the highlight of the day for me. The melt in your mouth sensation that it presented brought me to paradise, must try!
Among the milk, I would recommend the milk coffee for its very milky and subtle coffee taste. I'm a latte person but I like my coffee with lots of milk.
So if you're hankering for some Hokkaido produce after reading this post you can head down to their boutique store at Takashimaya to pamper yourself or do some online shopping on their website.
