OsteoMilk & OsteoSoy : Your Bones' Best Friends

Many of you might not know this, myself included, that today's World Osteoporosis Day! I'll be starting a series of 10 high calcium baking/cooking recipes to help you all keep osteoporosis at bay with delicious foods, more on that later on. Now, we often talk a bit Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) or World Nutella Day, etc but what about real health issues that affect all of us? I've no intention to bore you all with long lists of facts, statistics or figures at all.
Here's a some trivial facts to pique your interest and an introduction to two products, which, when taken regularly will have your bone thanking you for. Did you know that given that an average glass of milk contains 250mg of calcium, you will need 6 glasses of milk to fulfill your recommended daily intake of calcium? Did you know that your body cannot absorb more than 500mg of calcium in one sitting so there's no need to take in massive amounts of calcium at once? Did you also know that vitamin D is necessary for your body to absorb calcium and standing in the sun for 15mins a day will get you the required amount of vitamin D? No? Neither did I. -shrugs- Coming to realize all these, I'm glad to be introduced to OsteoSoy and OsteoMilk. Drinking 2 sachets (200 ml each) of either one per day would fill you up with your daily recommended calcium!
